Based in mid-Cornwall, we are a group of metal detecting enthusiasts (men and women) who have a passion for finding interesting historical artefacts and coins. We have a membership of 30 individuals who all share an interest in history & archaeology.    

We formed 12 years ago and now meet once a month to display our finds and to swap yarns.   We work closely with our Finds Liaison Office (Anna Tyack) and ensure that all historical finds are properly logged and recorded on the PAS site.

We hold fortnightly digs when a finds table is erected so that the land owners can view everything that is found on their land.   We have had many rare and exciting finds over the years including a hoard of roman silver denarii (2017) which is currently going through the Treasure process.   All our members must have full insurance cover through either  FID or NCMD.

Meetings are held at 1930hrs on the 3^rd Monday of each month in the new leisure centre in Lanivet.  You are more than welcome to join one of our meetings.
